Dinner with Sister Sue!

Marilyn had a late night (attending the Newsmakers event -- which is an annual dinner), so sister Sue and I went to dinner together at the Burrito House. We had a very nice time!

The jeans I gave Sue didn't work out -- they are way (!!!) too high-waisted for her. Too bad! But she did love the two purses I gave her (both were almost brand new -- I'm glad to have her using one right now!). And she gave ME her Dooney & Bourke -- the most expensive purse she ever bought herself. Wasn't that sweet of her??? Sue and I have grown so close. (Mom and Dad would be so pleased...)

I finished Dr. King's book "Why We Can't Wait" last night. Again, an amazing, wonderful read. I'm so glad I got that book! Now I want to read more of his writing...

No, I didn't end up at the office. Long story -- doesn't matter. Maybe tomorrow. Or Friday. Whatever. The work will get done.

Sister Sue's birthday is a week from tomorrow -- she's turning 70! Hard to believe...
