Must Be Vertigo. (ugh)

I've been up since this morning. I've been trying to go back to bed for hours, but it's been no-go so far. (sigh)

I've been busy with IT related things much of the day -- but thankfully Kris came through for me and got both the GreaterGiving and QuickBooks softwares working correctly again. I do love it that the problem with the GreaterGiving application was exactly what I'd suggested it might be (!!!). Maybe I could have fixed it, if I'd gone to work today and tried... Who knows? But I'm glad Kris came in and did it, so I didn't have to.

As for my being sick, the symptoms are now clearly the same as last year around this time -- and really appear to be a cross between severe allergies and vertigo. I was going to take a Meclizine and sleep, but I've been too busy. (There's an all-new IT subject on my horizon, so I've been researching like mad today...)

Then at some point I realized that I had lost my wallet -- and I was going CRAZY trying to find it! I literally was tearing the house apart looking. I even emptied every waste basket and drug through the garbage can under the sink and the large one in the garage (beyond gross), just in case. I was checking stupid places, like the fridge and so on. I called the store we shopped at last night and phoned Marilyn at work (!!!) to have her check the car. No luck! I was pretty out of it last night when I last had my wallet, so I guess it's no surprise it went missing... (Poor Marilyn, having to deal with more of my drama, when she's busy at work...)

Finally, I did what I always do: I got down on my knees and prayed to St. Jude.

I did this more than once, actually, but continued to look. Usually what happens for me is that I seem to be 'guided' to the right place...

Happily, I did find my wallet! Then I sat down and at the computer and typed up a detailed LIST of everything inside it (with all the pertinent numbers). I'd already tried to type a list from memory, but things were left off. And I didn't know the numbers to a lot of the cards (like store cards for buying credits, etc.). Now I've got a list, just in case.

You know, it might be a good idea for everyone to make a list of their own -- just sayin'! We never know when we might lose our all-important wallets, after all.

Now I guess it would be okay to lie down and sleep a bit. I won't take a Meclizine, though, as Marilyn will hopefully be home from work soon...

I've had some interesting days since I last blogged way back on last Thursday (!!!), so there's much to share. Sick or no, I've been going strong almost every day.

Anyway, I hope all my friends are doing well!
