Staff Picnic at Sue's House

Today was our annual Staff Picnic at Sue (and Dennis') house. Beautiful blue skies and sunshine!

Sister Sue was supposed to go along, but didn't feel well. She went to the doctor to be checked over, just in case... (Happily they didn't find it necessary to put her in the hospital or anything. She has her tests next Tuesday.)

Here are a couple of photos:

2011 Staff Picnic - Charlie at the pool

The top photo is Marilyn and me with Mark (a former president and board member). The second photo is me 'in the pool' -- the joke being that this is as close as I get to actually going in the pool. (smile) But I DID get my feet and legs wet, at least!

It took more than an hour (!!!) in traffic to get home, even though Marilyn and I left earlier than we usually do. We were home around 5:00-ish. We did make it to the party by 11:30 this morning -- the only Staff person there sooner was Jeff.

Happily neither of us drank that much today. But we were both so tired that we spent most of the rest of the day sleeping...

Our latest TV hang up is watching HGTV. (smile)

Well, that's it for today. More this weekend -- assuming LiveJournal will work well enough for that, of course!!!
