Busy Work Day... And Marilyn and I Make Choices!

The most important thing that happened today? Marilyn and I left work just past 3:00 p.m. in order to go waaaaaaay out to the stores where we selected our new carpet for downstairs (stairs, family room, hallway and Marilyn's bedroom), vinyl (for Marilyn's bathroom) and paint (for the family room and hall, plus Marilyn's bedroom. We had to do a lot of driving in terrible rush-hour traffic, but at least this task is done! (woo hoo)

I started setting up my new work computer today, but didn't get it finished, I'm afraid. (sigh) Hopefully soon! I just tried to Remote to work and COULDN'T, which is a bad thing. (heavy sigh)

We had our gathering for annual story telling, which last from 11:30 to almost exactly 2:00. Then I had a meeting with Kris right after that to discuss the new Server we're getting! (woo hoo) Hopefully the migration will happen over the Fourth of July weekend, as everyone in the office is getting a four-day weekend (July 1, 2, 3 and 4) -- so it's perfect timing for down time...

We were all happy to see Shannon back today!!! She got terribly sick on Sunday and has been sick since then -- and was pretty weak and pale today, too. Poor thing! I just love her (everyone does).

We had our Communications Meeting -- part of that was a discussion of getting ready for Pinnacle submissions...

There's lots of work to do, that's for sure...

Well, I'm tired and ready for a nap -- so off I go!
