I'm Tired.

It's Tuesday. It's 11:00 p.m. And I'm tired...

I think the reason I'm so tired this year is tired to having the flu right before the festival. And having such a bad bout of flu. I'm just not myself this year.

No worries -- I'll get through okay. But I've felt tired all day today...

Which did NOT keep me from getting a ton done!

I finished up the Starlight script right around noon, which was the goal. I got up around 7:00 a.m. and posted the News item Marilyn had given me to the Home page of the website. After that I made a pot of coffee and started right in on the script. It took longer than I'd expected, but I think it turned out fine. Tomorrow is the annual PA meeting, moved from Tuesday to Wednesday for the first time in all the years I've done that meeting. Alex will take me there, then drop me at Lloyd Center after that (Marilyn will be there for Court judging late). I'll go shop, or something. Or sit and read my Kindle...

I did do most of the garbage and recycling today, so I won't need to really worry about it tomorrow. I even did the cat boxes. Sister Sue and Nicole took me to Freddies to get the kitty litter I forgot when shopping yesterday.

Actually, Sue and I did take a break for lunch today, going for Mexican. I got a bunch of takeout to bring home. That way Marilyn and I could have it for dinner (we did -- yummy), and eat on the leftovers for a couple days -- the way we did last time we had it.

Sue and I had a nice long talk at lunch, and later Nicole and I talked while she and I shopped, also nice!

I finally got my soak in a hot tub around 8:30 p.m. tonight. I'd been wanting it all day long. My knees and feet were still sore from all the standing and walking (and dashing!!!) I had to do yesterday. It was a long, hard, busy day -- but I did love it!

Today was busy, too -- and I did get a lot done. Now I want to snuggle down with my cats and a book (and maybe my Kindle, too). And spend some time in prayer. I've been praying a lot recently, which is good for me. But it does mean I've been doing a lot less reading. When you're this busy, something has to give. The last few nights I seem to fall asleep in the middle of my extended prayers...

It was warm and MUGGY (ugh) today -- but at least it was mostly DRY. It figures, considering this is a day when we wouldn't mind some rain! I keep hoping and praying we'll get dry weather when we need it. (sigh)

Marilyn's back seems to be getting a little bit better. Not a lot better, I'm afraid, but we're both thankful for small improvements. (She credits all my prayers -- I've focused a lot on her feeling better, I admit.)

I'm so tired right now my eyes are tearing, so it's time to close for today. I do have lots to share at some point about yesterday (Monday seems days away to me -- it's like that during the festival) -- and I did download photos at one point today. But I just can't get myself up for doing it right now. Sorry!

I can't wait to be able to read other blogs again and comment -- I miss you guys! Keeping you in my thoughts (and of course my prayers, too).

Goodnight, everyone!
