Movie: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1"

Marilyn and I (finally) saw "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1" at the Mt. Hood Theatre (in Gresham, Oregon) tonight.

It's about time!

We enjoyed it, though it's hard to see so many characters hurt and killed... (Note my icon, which I've literally been using for years and years... smile...)

It was pretty here today, though cold. They're still talking about SNOW next week (!!!), which we're hoping won't happen. We're too busy now to have time for snow to mess things up.

Sister Sue is spending this weekend with her friend Nancy.

I spent a couple hours today trying to get a certain piece of CSS to work -- which didn't, unfortunately. (sigh) Anyway, I'm still having some fun with the website mock-up, so it's all good.

Henry is curled up in 'his' chair behind me, my Kindle is charging and I'm sipping Diet Dr. Pepper as I type this. Life is good!

We're expecting another clear day tomorrow, and Marilyn and I hope to get up at a reasonable hour and maybe take a drive somewhere.

Speaking of my Kindle, I've finished several books recently. I often forget to even mention I'm reading them, much less to say when I'm done. I love my Kindle more each day! It's such a perfect way to carry piles and piles of books with me wherever I go!

And it saved my life in the hospital to have my Kindle to read!!! (And didn't hurt to have my iPod to listen to, either.) Yes, I love technology. The only thing missing in the hospital was my laptop, which they assured me I wouldn't have been allowed to use, even if I had brought it with me...

I neglected to mention my cell, which was also handy (even though I did have a phone in my room). Technology rules. I have absolutely no desire to be 'unplugged' at any time. I don't care how many of my friends constantly suggest it. If it's working for YOU, then go for it. But it's NOT working for ME.

On that note, I think I might see what Marilyn's up to. If she wants to head to bed, that's all good. Otherwise, I might mess around some more on the computer...
