Fighting a Cold...

Both Marilyn and I have been fighting off a bug for awhile now. Little wonder, with all the stress, lack of regular meals and lack of sleep -- along with the cold weather. (brr) We've done a pretty good job not giving in to illness...

Marilyn is at work, facing a new year -- when things get really busy at the festival. I'd planned to be there, too, but instead I'm home. I'm in bed and actually have my laptop set up here (I've never taken it to bed with me before). Phone and cellphone are close by. The TV is on (muted) and the Vicks Waterless Vaporizer is running. I checked my blood count, took my meds, ate a buttered bun and am settled with my Kindle (and my newly downloaded purchase of "The Collected Short Stories - Volume 7: The Frontier Stories," of Louis L'Amour). Life isn't perfect, but it's still good.

We didn't make it to WalMart last night. I need to take back the watch I bought, which doesn't work. (sigh) It's a replacement for my watch that recently died. (big sigh)

Marilyn and I were both making new icons last night before bed. Good fun. I hope to upload some and share some with others...

Henry is sleeping close by me. He sees his own vet on Wednesday.

Well, I think I'll nap now...
