Starbucks? Yes!

Marilyn and I are (briefly) at Starbucks to have coffee (well, I'm having hot tea - a grande Chai Tea Latte). We had take-out from The Burrito House (we never have burritos -- but there's TONS of other Mexican food choices) for dinner, and after decided we needed Starbucks!

Obviously we brought along our laptops.

Earlier today we got a new lamp for the livingroom (woo hoo), ordered (and paid for) our new vacuum cleaner (!!!) and bought several new rugs. This all added up to a lot of $$$, but that's okay -- we really needed these things. The vacuum won't be here for nearly a week, but we had no luck locating it at any of the stores we checked, so that's okay. Can't WAIT to give it a try! (It's designed to deal with pet hair, happily...)

We watched lots of U.S. Open Tennis today -- very good play! It was fun to see the Men's Doubles Final this morning.

Sister Sue left for a one-day cribbage tournament today. She gets back tomorrow night, I think.

Henry seems a little under the weather, poor baby. I think he has seasonal allergies, just like me...

Colin likes the new rug we got to go inside the front door, which is a good thing. That's a spot he likes to lie frequently. Yes. It's all about the cats! (smile)

And I guess that's pretty much it for today (so far). Vacation continues to rock!
