Irony. My Latest Message from Qwest.

This morning I received the following message in my email inbox...

**** PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE. THE MAILBOX THAT SENT THIS
MESSAGE IS NOT MONITORED****

Dear Qwest.net Customer -

- Good News - Qwest is helping reduce SPAM

Qwest.net(TM) is adjusting the settings on its mail servers to reflect
the default settings of Microsoft(R) Outlook(R) Express (the Qwest.net
supported e-mail client). By making this change, we will further reduce
the opportunity for SPAM and malicious software to affect your PC and
Qwest.net mail system, increasing the reliability and stability of your
service.

And so on and so forth.

The irony?

I received it 33 times (so far).

Um... SPAM, anyone? (grin)

I started to wonder if it was a joke or something, so I called the support line and got an electronic message that confirmed they're 'working on' the issue. That's just too funny...

Well, at least this explains why my internet connection was down for hours yesterday!

I have to be honest -- I didn't really need more spam support. I get very, very little spam to my inbox. But whatever!
