Another FABULOUS vacation day here at home! And no, Marilyn and I really don't mind stickin' around the house this week. We love our home and love having time to enjoy it!
I slept in late (mmmmmmmm...) and Marilyn watched Wimbledon tennis from her 'bed' on the family room sofa. Then we got up and messed around online, played games and finally went to tan. They were having a big sale, so I actually used the PLATINUM tanning bed (!!!) for the first time ever (for $10). Wow. It really is a dream bed! It wraps around you and reaches every part of you in ways other beds don't. It has settings for face and body for both the lamps and fans. It has a MISTER (!!!) that you can use every two minutes that gently mists your body and face, then air blows it dry. It's like lying in the sun somewhere under IDEAL conditions. I've used a lot of tanning beds over the years, but this one beats them all. It's incredible. There are no words... (Orgasmic?) After I was done I sat outside on a bench while waiting for Marilyn, and I snapped a couple shots of the sky, which was so lovely! Summer is really here!
Anyway, after tanning, we went to the Freddies near where we tan and bought some of the dollar plants. (Some is an understatement. We bought almost $40 worth!)
Then we came home and Marilyn decided to do more planting.
I goofed off. Seriously, I was NO help at all. I Tweeted from my phone. I took photos and then used my cell to send entries to Facebook! I reclined on the lounge chair and enjoyed the sunshine. It wasn't the Platinum bed (heh), but it was pretty much HEAVEN, even so! Yes. Yes, it was very nice! So I took a photo and Facebooked it. I couldn't even see what I was shooting, but the result had rays from the sun and was pretty damn cool...
Once again the cats helped out (grin), as you can see below.
On that note, it's time for a photo share!!!

And I had a short nap on the sofa, too. Goofing off it's so exhausting! (smile) I read a magazine and watched some TV and it's just vacation all over my world.
We snacked on Ritz crackers, with cut up cheese and lunch meat (a perfect hot day meal). (yummy) And now we're messing around online. But thinking we might take a drive now that the sun has gone down (so the no-air-conditioning-in-the-car thing won't matter).
Life is so GOOD.
