Jim and Patty's and Chang's

Marilyn mistressmarilyn and I went to Jim and Patty's Coffee House, over on Fremont (near Amalfi's) to have coffee and use the WiFi with our laptops. A really enjoyable couple of hours.

Tonight we went to Chang's Mongolian Grill (on 122nd) for a late dinner. You take a bowl (or two) and fill it from the selections, which include beef, chicken, lamb, fish, tofu (etc.) and all kinds of veggies, plus noodles -- whatever you desire. Then you mix your own sauce (according to the menu from mild to hot). Finally you give these to the cooks and end up with your stir fry on a plate, perfectly prepared. (You can read all about the Mongolian Dinner experience HERE.) No MSG is used in cooking and no chemical preservatives are used in the vegetables.

The meal includes rice, crepes and plum sauce (and a choice of soup). I can't begin to describe how tasty it is!

We hadn't been in ages, so it was a great treat.

First we tried to go to the location over at Jantzen Beach, which was GONE (!!!). They need to take DOWN the website, which gives no indication that it isn't open. We managed to make it to the second location in time, but were there for closing.

There was good tennis to watch today (including Rafa), so it was another nice vacation day!
