Yes, it's 4:00 a.m.
And you're surprised, why?
Earlier when I was writing my entry I got interrupted and never finished it. Then we left work around 7:00 p.m., so I just saved it and forgot it. So I wanted to get up and put it Live... (smile)
Today Marilyn mistressmarilyn and I are off to the beach with Mitch and sister Sue to celebrate his birthday (which was yesterday). We have a lot of plans (which include Fascination, dinner and tennis), so it should be a fun day.
Maybe we can go get manicures (???) before we take off. I guess that remains to be seen, though.
I need to go CHARGE my laptop, as I forgot to do it before lying down for a 'nap' (some nap!) last night -- and we're planning to take them along with us!
We were supposed to have a piece of Paul's cake with coffee before bed last night, but we were also only going to nap and get up again -- and that didn't exactly work out the way we planned! (smile)
I've been trying to be a bit more active at Facebook again. I'll never love it the way I do LiveJournal, but it is a nice way to keep up on friends, even so. (And it's a fast way, which isn't always true of LJ.)
I go back in to the festival office next Tuesday. Kent is scheduled to come in and do some things (we have funds remaining in this fiscal year's budget for this purpose), so that's a good thing.
I also need to get some website stuff done. And work on the Auction set-up (which we're changing this year). There's always festival work to do!
Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL weather. At one point Marilyn, Rich, Paul and I walked down to Starbuck's and it was just so lovely to be out under that deep blue sky and sunshine! I love summer.
Well, I'm charging the laptop and heading back to bed for now. I suspect my next entry might actually be from the beach! (grin)
