Today was the Staff Picnic at Sue and Dennis' house. (Dennis wasn't able to be there, as he had to work.) We had a good turnout with most of the Staff attending and many bringing sig-os and kids. Robert cooked (fabulous meat!) and was also bartender (Jeff helped bartend). Mark was Robert's 'assistant,' so was teased for being late -- but was great fun, as always. Sue just did so much to make sure everyone had a wonderful time. There was a ton of food and drink (both soft and alcoholic) -- Charold brought one of those amazing cakes for desert.

When Marilyn mistressmarilyn and I were leaving, Sue packed us up a huge bag of food to bring home. She just spoils us to death.

It was hot, but not as bad as it has been recently. Most people went in the pool, while the rest of us sat or lounged around pool side. Great company and great food made for a lovely time.

On the way home we dropped by the office to take stuff back from last night, including the speakers stand that had been taking up the back seat of the car.

My number this morning was 116, which is really good. (In the three days I've been testing, I've had 127, 121 and 116 -- all good numbers.) I got my form in the mail today from my supplies providers. I have to fill it out with the results for two weeks, showing that I'm testing several times a day. That way they'll give me more than the normal once-a-day quantity of testing strips. Obviously I haven't been at this long enough to do that yet, but I will as soon as I have the results to share.

It was hot enough that we were DELIGHTED to get home again. Being in traffic in this heat is a bear. We're trying not to run our air in the car to avoid over-heating, but it's hard to do that.

Marilyn is playing Zuma beside me while I type this. I'm going to play games as soon as I finish. I need to make some more icons, but I wasn't in the mood.

I was looking for something under the sink in my bathroom (that I never did find), so I did a little bit more organizing there. I keep it pretty nice most of the time, so it wasn't much. But that was my work for today, clearly! (heh) I'm totally in the mood to goof of and do nothing really productive.

I do want to work on my Excel for keeping my results, as I'm still not satisfied with it. But whatever...
