Finally! Our Teeter Was Delivered Today...

The UPS delivery that I mentioned yesterday? Well, it FINALLY happened today! I waited from early in the morning until nearly 6:30 p.m. (!!!), which is when the truck pulled up. The man was fabulous, funny and friendly -- and as he hadn't been the one here yesterday who didn't knock (!!!), I was very warm with him. (smile)

The funny part? I'd been going in and out (on the front porch) all day long. (I also had the blinds open on a window in the office and one in the kitchen, too. I was NOT going to miss the delivery again!) Anyway, not only was I outside when he came, but I'd walked down to the corner of our lot (looking at our hens and chicks under the maple) -- and I was also on the phone with Marilyn mistressmarilyn, who was driving home from work.

Needless to say, I didn't get to the office for the 4:30 p.m. Staff Meeting. Marilyn came home at 3:00 to get the video file (too big to email). She was hoping to take me back with her, but the delivery hadn't happened (and was 3 1/2 hours away!), so...

Anyway, we got our Teeter Hang Up, which we've wanted for years now.

Today I worked for hours on a video that we needed to embed into our PowerPoint presentation. My part has been support: helping get photos (fixing and resizing and all that), getting the video and assisting with tweaks. Nothing major. Personally, I wouldn't credit myself as having really done the work at all on this presentation -- it's really Marilyn's effort, and she's done an amazing job. I think people will be pleased when they see it Thursday night.

Helen won on "The Biggest Loser" -- and I think she totally deserved to! That's three women in a row -- and the oldest winner ever (Helen is 48). I think it was the best season ever.

I didn't get any website work done to speak of today, I'm afraid. Aside from the hours I spent on the video, I was involved with IT-related work (mostly with Ron). It was a busy day, but not very productive. I've got an eNewsletter that's really LATE, and a TON of website stuff that needs to be done. (sigh)

And, no, I haven't touched the parade script yet (!!!).

I need to really buckle down tomorrow, that's for sure.
