TMI Warning!

This will be TMI. You've been warned! If you feel you'll be grossed out, do not go behind the cut!

It appears that I've got an External Yeast Infection. (big sigh)

I started to notice it the day before yesterday, and it's gotten progressively worse. I didn't have time to think about it yesterday (way too busy), but because I was working from home today, I had a lot more time to focus on the discomfort.

If you've never had a yeast infection, you have no clue how miserable this can be.

It's no wonder, really, considering I took those three doses of heavy-duty antibiotics -- and they stay in your system for ages. There are lots of other possible causes, but that's the main one.

One of the home remedies is tea tree oil (yes, again!), and I had some in spray form (mixed with mint oil) that I sprayed on today. It did sting like a b*tch, but it was also cooling and comforting.

Sister Sue went and got me Fluconazole, which is a one dose tablet that can help within 24 hours. We'll see what happens with that... I'll be working from home tomorrow, so I'll try to wear loose clothing and let everything 'breathe' as much as possible. That can help, too.

Speaking of sister Sue, we finished up and emailed off her project today. She was put in charge of the 2009 Nominations for the Board of Directors for the ACC (American Cribbage Congress), so together we've put in quite a few hours gathering the information that will appear in Cribbage World. We were both glad to have that done!

I also did some website stuff I needed to get done. And tomorrow I need to get out an eBulletin (we pushed back the eNewsletter until next week, thankfully). And I worked on my backup of the website files (takes some time) -- and hope to do the IT files backups, too. I spoke twice to Ron, figuring out what we'd work on tomorrow and Friday. It's all good!

So it was another busy day -- which is normal for this time of year.

In other news, I've got a plumber coming out to do some work for us tomorrow. My bathroom faucet has been dripping (heavily) for months now, so we really needed that fixed! And we're having the guy replace the kitchen faucet, too. And snake the toilet in one of our bathrooms... So I'll have him here sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Marilyn attended the annual Newsmakers Of The Year dinner tonight -- and didn't get home until 10:00 p.m. -- so she had a long, long day with no break. (I guess the food was awful, which is too bad...)

Well, I need to go finish the garbage and recycling now. Then time for bed.
