Nap Time? Plus... New Trends for the Festival in 2009

It was another busy day, but working from home instead of the office...

Marilyn mistressmarilyn was later than I expected, so we missed "Jeopardy" tonight. I was supposedly DVR-ing it, but I screwed it up. (sigh)

We had leftover homemade barley soup for dinner and watch some "Newsies" (we're huge fans).

I set up several Facebook accounts today for work-related purposes. It's an interesting thing to do. I excited to see how they work out.

We've been talking about a Viral Video Team, and I'm really into the idea. We've got some amazing cyber things happening at the festival this year, actually. Plus we're going to have a Freeze at one of our events (I'm NOT saying anything more -- because a Freeze is spoiled if too many people not participating know about it in advance).

If you don't know what a Freeze is and/or have never seen one, do go HERE and check out the famous Frozen Grand Central. It's awesome!

We've got some really different and fun ideas happening this year, I think. It's exciting to see things become a bit more trendy, while still maintaining the tradition of a festival that's more than 100 years old...

Our Clown Corps got a sponsor today, which is GREAT news. I played my small part with the eNewsletter I did that featured the Clowns -- and apparently got the attention of the sponsor. So I'm pleased to have helped out. Sponsors are so essential to make special events come off, I can't even begin to say how much so.

As for the court, it's five princesses down and ten more to go...

So the festival is geared up and more busy than I can even start to share -- and I'm only hoping I'll be able to keep blogging in spite of that! Busy, busy, busy.

I'm so ready for a nap!
