The Christmas Tree is (finally) Down.

The ornaments are off, the tree is down and packed back into the box. It's taped shut, because they seem unable to make the boxes BIG enough to put the tree into, once it's been used. (This was also true for our old tree and is true for the outdoor tree.) I don't know why they can't spare a bit more cardboard, but whatever. Now we just need to pack the ornaments carefully away and put all the Christmas boxes back where they belong.

Then we can clean up the living room, kitchen and my bathroom, in preparation for the Writing Circle get together tomorrow night. Oh. And I need to do some major cooking, too!

We tanned today. (I'm bummed that when they merged with someone else -- changing their name -- they also changed the tanning beds... sigh...) Then we stopped at Ross were we picked up a new baking dish (my casserole dish is on loan to a friend) so I can make a casserole (or two) for dinner for tomorrow. I also got two pairs of pants, too, for a song. Good deal! Ross is so reasonable. I just love it.

Now we're taking a nap before we get up to finish up all the work I mentioned -- along with going grocery shopping. Busy, busy!

And Marilyn's mistressmarilyn new assistant Ashley starts tomorrow.
