iPod Emergency - SOLVED!

I'll have to to do a lengthy post later to explain, but earlier this week I had an iPod Emergency (that I never posted about), where I kept getting the message that I need to Restore my iPod.

It was happening with TWO different iPods, so I was immediately concerned -- and convinced I didn't really need to restore anything.

The Restore function erases the iPod's disk and 'restores' the iPod to its original factory condition -- so it's seriously NOT something you want to do unless you really, really have to! I mean, who wants to reload all that music, all those photos and so on (music vids, TV shows and whatever else)??? Not me!

Anyway, I reasoned out the problem -- and how to FIX it -- this afternoon, so I'm pretty proud of myself!

Plus, I figure it's something that happens to other people, too -- so I want to get my solution out there where it can assist others in the same boat...

But at the moment, I'm heading for a nap. More soon.
