Oh, Happy Day! (Busy, Busy, Busy, Too...)

The joy is still with me today. And as I talk to others, I realize how hopeful people are feeling right now. This is wonderful, it really is.

It totally takes the edge off still feeling sick...

And being sick didn't keep me down for a second today. I got the garbage and recycling done early, did some laundry, did a load of dishes, washed my hair (!!!) and did a TON of stuff for work.

I just sorted through a pile of IT-related instructions that I typed up today. (whew) I have tons more to do, but I'm sticking with it...

The last episode of "Frasier" is playing here in the office as I write this. I love that show!

We had leftovers for dinner (chicken casserole), and it was quite good, actually! (I hadn't been looking forward to, for whatever reason...) It was perfect for a miserable, rainy and cold day. (brr)

But eating brought on a fit of coughing. So far I'm still coughing and fighting off laryngitis, which is hard when I have to be on the phone all day long answering IT-related questions. (sigh) It's okay. I'm convinced the worst is over for me. (Poor Marilyn mistressmarilyn has my bug now, though!) As I said to her, we may both feel like crap, but we got LOADS done today, even so!

No. I haven't started NaNo. But I'll get there, soon. (Hopefully!!!)

Time for bed now.
