Future TV Star

Okay, maybe not! But not only was Marilyn mistressmarilyn on TV this morning, but she's going to do a national TV show in three weeks...

Long story, but FOX apparently approached PRFA about doing a style make-over on someone. This has ended up being the new Executive Director, Susie--and Marilyn did the tape required to request a make-over on her...

The series is called Ambush Makeover and it's apparently already on TV in some areas (syndicated) right now. They're supposed to increase the market this September, which is when Susie and Marilyn would air...

Marilyn is the person requesting the makeover for Susie (obviously), anyway...

Susie was pretty impressed by Marilyn when they made the tape. Greg (another Events person at PRFA) did the taping and Marilyn did it off the cuff--in one take! I guess it went well (though I didn't get to see it).

!!!

Obviously it went well, or the series wouldn't have confirmed that they'll be making Susie over in three weeks! LOL.

Marilyn has done quite a bit of local radio and TV over the years in her role at Rose Festival, of course. She's got a marvelous speaking voice and is quite at ease in front of a camera...

Still, it's a big, big deal--so I'm thrilled she's going to be doing it!
