Okay, I'm in total denial, but what the heck -- in two weeks this thing is in the bag (well, pretty much) for another year. (smile)
I just finished up with our latest Newsletter (via email) -- I'm doing them weekly now.
The first response I got was someone unsubbing the list -- not a big surprise as far as I'm concerned. Over the past six weeks (including this one), we've sent out a Newsletter every single week.
Yes. Six Newsletters in six weeks.
I'd probably be unsubbing, too. I've done it before when I felt I was being spammed... (sigh)
I think I'll post a link for anyone who'd really like to see it.
Most of my LJ Friends won't be interested (naturally enough). And I prefer not to post it public (like almost all my stuff), because it's just too personal, if you follow me.
Sure, many have reasoned out what festival and how to locate it -- and me. But because Marilyn mistressmarilyn and I have actually been cyber-stalked (including at work), I prefer not to make it any easier for anyone. (grin)
The banner and overall design of this one turned out pretty damn good, if I do say so myself! I felt really positive about the one I did last week, as well. I should have started coding these like actual web pages months ago -- stupid me! That's all a good eNewsletter is, really, is a webpage shared via email...
I'm working from my home office today. Yesterday I went in to the office for the annual PA Meeting (for the other script -- not mine). Both of the PA Meetings always take place on the Tuesday afternoon (at 4 p.m.) preceding the given parade. Both parades take place on Saturdays, though one is at night and the other is in the morning.
I'll be at work tomorrow, of course. And Sue (the parade chairman) is bring us in lunch on Friday -- can't wait! Saturday is parade number one. Aside from that, Marilyn and I will be working on my script -- plus I need to start work on the next Newsletter this weekend (to go out next week). It appears we may send out TWO (!!!) Newsletters next week. Isn't that just dandy?
I also need to do our garbage and recycling (it's Wednesday). And we got new roll carts/bins this week, so it's exciting! (I planned to post about it, but I've just been too busy to get to it.)
Sister Sue is horribly sick with a cold -- so no Opening Ceremonies for her tomorrow. (sigh) But Cousin Linda (and family) do plan to be there, interestingly enough!
Actually, I've got a slew of things to share, when I can find a minute or two...
For now, I'd better get back to it!
