Yes, it's Australian Open time again!
Andy Roddick is already out. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but I'm not.
James Blake looked like he was going to lose, but he pulled it out against Sebastian Grosjean [4-6 2-6 6-0 7-6(5) 6-2]. Currently we're watching Roger Federer playing Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia. Janko is impressive (and darling) -- I like him a lot. But I'm pulling for Roger to win...
The Serbian story is compelling and the Serbian players are all fabulous! Novak Djokovic had an easy time in his third round. Ana Ivanovic had an impressive 6-0, 6-3 victory over Tathiana Garbin. (Ana is just darling and speaks excellent English.)
Okay, Roger just took the fourth set, 6-1. (Now that's the Roger we know and love... smile...)
Makes me want to play tennis. (smile) A little hard this time of year, though!
The Australian Open!
