Today. Not Exactly What I Planned. (smile)

Okay, today was a tough one. So I could moan and groan about it. But what the hell -- this too shall pass, as Marilyn mistressmarilyn reminded me.

Besides -- there were some very good moments! (grin)

It's hard to keep a good (wo)man down.

Now I need to do the garbage and recycling and head to bed. We have another very early day tomorrow! (And tons to do.)

That list from yesterday? I didn't get much done. Dishes and some laundry. I used a very small (and dull) hand saw to cut two branches off the tree out back. (Hard work -- but satisfying!) And the two rose bushes in the corner had fallen over, so I had to cut them back a bit and tie them up. I was really attacked by both bushes, but it's done now! (I have photos to share, but no time to load them up right now.)

I spent ages on phone support in my IT role for the festival. On top of everything else, we couldn't connect to the internet today! So I had to go in this afternoon, even though this wasn't supposed to be my work day. Which is okay! (That's why I didn't finish much from my 'To Do' list. (smile)

We tracked the problem down to a bad modem, but Amy and I were having a bitch of a time getting the new modem configured. So we'll give it a go again tomorrow.

Anyway, Marilyn and I didn't get home from the office until around 10:00 p.m. We had a great talk with the wonderful Leslie!

Speaking of tomorrow, we have a very early day (again), that starts in the office at 7:30 a.m. -- so I need to go finish the garbage and recycling (sigh) and head to bed as soon as I can (considering it's now 11:39 p.m.)...

Yes, I miss being more active here at LJ, but work has to come first, after all!

I hope things go better tomorrow. Hell, I'm sure they will! And believing it is getting halfway there.

Go, me!
