Today was the festival's Staff Picnic -- so Marilyn mistressmarilyn spent much of the day there. We did go for Starbuck's before she left, though. (smile)

I think she had a good time, anyway. Actually, she may have had too good a time. (grin) She's downstairs sleeping it off as we speak. (Well, as I type.)

Several board members were there -- and they keep her well oiled, it seems. She apparently started off with a nice big drink within minutes of arriving, and then kept on going. There was no tennis played today, in other words.

We were supposed to meet Ira tonight to go and see "From One Rose" (the festival motion picture) with him, but I phoned and explained. He seemed cool with that.

I think we'll be working tomorrow (in the office???), too. Then we'll be attending A Midsummer's Night at Lone Fir Cemetery (from 5:00 - 7:30 pm), put on by the Friends of Lone Fir Cemetery (Marilyn's giving a short speech).

I think it would be fun if Mitch joined us. I guess we can ask him in the morning!

I need to wash my hair -- and can't decide if I should do it now, or wait until morning. (sigh) Such important issues to resolve! (heh)

Oh, I did visit with June and Jim briefly today. Well, around 45 minutes, I guess. Then I talked to neighbor Doug for around half an hour...
