I (finally) finished my Writing Circle project for October. Hurray for me! (smile)
I titled it "A Not-So-Chance Encounter." (The topic for this month was "Chance Encounters." It was recommended by Dick, one of our circle members.)
2,857 / 2,000
The last time I mentioned this, I had more than 800 words to go to finish up. Now I've got more than 800 words beyond the goal of 2,000 -- so that seems good to me. (grin)
Once we've shared this with our group I plan to post it here to share. It's very different from anything I've done before -- which I did on purpose -- so I'm not sure yet how well it worked. I'm looking forward to getting feedback -- both good and bad -- in other words! I think this is a great opportunity to play around with writing styles and so on... Why not? What've I got to lose?
That warmed me up for the fast-approaching NaNo, which is a good thing with less than a week to go! (smile)
I've got more to update on, which I'll hopefully do soon...
