rosey!

Another Busy Day, Doing Festival Work...

Before I try and blog, here's the message at the top of the page: There is currently a problem which prevents scheduled entries from being posted. Developers are aware of this issue and are working to fix it. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Interesting! LiveJournal has been having some issues for the last couple of days, I guess. Well, let's hope it no big deal...

In other news (smile), I was suddenly SHOCKED to see that it's now nearing 8:00 p.m. I had no clue it was that late! I guess that's partly because it stays lighter longer now -- which is a very good thing!

I have work I should be doing, so I'd better keep this SHORT.

Sister Sue and I went out to hand-deliver Marilyn's and my ballots today -- then out to lunch (for Mexican). I've got food waiting here for Marilyn (and me) for dinner, when (if) she gets home. Okay, there's no 'if' about it -- but she's rarely here before 9:00 p.m. most nights (and can be later, too). I don't know WHY I thought she might be home sooner tonight. Call me crazy, I guess! (heh)

Aside from actually GETTING DRESSED (!!!) and going out with the ballots and for lunch, I've been doing pretty much the same thing I do every day right now: Sitting in front of my computer without hardly a break (even to pee), working away on festival stuff. Today it was the eNewsletter (that goes out Thursday), website AND some IT, as well. Plus I'm now doing the Twitter stuff for the festival. Yesterday I Tweeted 10 times and I'm close to that for today, as well. That includes ReTweets and Replies to people, of course.

I'm using bit.ly and TwitPic and Tweeting what we cover at Facebook. I've done it before, but I'm determined to be BETTER AT IT this time around. We got seven new Followers today, interestingly enough. Not sure why, though. We've got a total of 2,480 Followers, which isn't that many, really, when you think of the millions of hits the website gets. (I personally have 1,314 Followers for my own account, and I rarely ever Tweet...) Well, maybe we'll gain Followers this year, who knows? You do have to keep Tweeting to interest people, after all...

Marilyn and I finally saw the movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo the night before last -- and LOVED it! Daniel Craig (as Mikael Blomkvist) and Rooney Mara (as Lisbeth Salander) are both WONDERFUL -- and the film deserved the Academy Award nominations received, that's for sure. We watched part of it again last night, but then got sleepy and stopped. I downloaded the book for my Kindle, so now I'm going to read it.

Well, back to work!
