Our Saturday -- Pretty Lazy

Marilyn and I spent most of the day doing little or nothing. We slept, watched TV, played with our iPads and read. I guess you could say we took the day off. (smile)

We just watched Miss America and it seems like it really never changes much. It really seems a lot like the same show I watched as a child. I'm not saying it's either a good or bad thing, it's just what it is. Maybe it shouldn't change all that much, really. It is what it is.

However, that said, I was sorry the winner didn't have waterproof mascara. Wow, she looked AWFUL at the end. And, yes, it does matter. I didn't want to see her crying black tears. (ugh)

We went shopping at one point today and got some things we wanted. More about all of that later on. I'll take photos and share at some point... (grin)

No, I didn't get the tree decorations put away. Or the boxes of Christmas stuff put away. (sigh) We didn't get the work on the RHSAA website done, either. Tomorrow we'll tackle all that. Makes me even more glad we're having a three-day weekend...

Now we're watching SNL. The first skit (Target) was pretty lame. Really? (sigh) Daniel Radcliffe is appearing, so let's get to the Harry Potter skit, could we?

We're supposedly expecting snow locally, but I won't be surprised if we don't get any here to speak of... These 'snow incidents' rarely ever actually happen here in Portland.

I guess that's the news here... Boring, huh?
