snow, let it snow

Busy Day (for a change).

Cold weather or no, at home or no, this has ended up to be a busy day for me...

I've been working on the latest eNewsletter for work -- and trying to keep up our Gold award-winning standard (smile). That's my constant goal now, each time I code it.

Here's the start of the new banner this time:

banner

(The actual dimensions of the banner would be 750 x 215 pixels, but I made it smaller to share here.)

And here's a decorative graphic image I created to go inside the eNewsletter...

snow trees

(The above graphic is full size. It goes at the bottom of columns one and three in a three column eNewsletter.)

I created that decorative element by making my own snowy pine tree brush for Paint Shop Pro, then using it to make the graphic. I had a similar pink snowflake graphic in the last eNewsletter (that went out last week). Fun, fun!

Making these eNewsletters is HARD WORK -- there's no doubt about it. But on the other hand, I LOVE doing them! So it's all good.

The NaBloPoMo theme for December is THANKS, so each day this month I'll try to include something I'm thankful for -- or an example of the word 'thanks.'

I'm thankful:

That I learned Paint Shop Pro when I did. I remember that it seemed like all my online friends were using it, too, back when I first started working with the application.

I got it because it was so affordable, and I can't say how glad I am that I made that decision! (I used to want PhotoShop, but I'm really happy I ended up with PSP. My fave version of the four I've had is Paint Shop Pro 9.)

I've done a TON of professional and personal work using PSP. It's one of my all-time fave softwares!
