"Christmas Land"

I'm enjoying working on NaNo today...

Here's my novel synopsis:
There's more to Christmas than presents, food and family, as the poor children in a rundown trailer park are out to prove.

And I'm really excited that we can now include cover art for our novels!

So, here's mine, for those interested...

"Christmas Land,"

Anyway, I've finally started my novel. Originally, I thought about working on the novel I began back in 2005, but I just wasn't enjoying that. So we won't talk about wasted time spent on it... (smile)

This year's novel came to me YESTERDAY (yes, on November 21 -- with only days left to go), but I've got tons in my head and am ready to roll!

Both Marilyn mistressmarilyn and I are writing (and researching) away today, which is exciting (and fun, too).

Hell, if I don't finish NaNo, at least I gave it a go. Actually, that's cool by me!

Sister Sue brought us by Starbucks (and a small container of party mix) today, which was nice of her. I've recently been 'hung up' on the Gingersnap Latte lately (minus the choke-you-if-possible chuncks of crystallized ginger on top), so that's what she got me. Yummy! By the way, I love it when it's time for the Starbucks Red Cups! (The Starbucks website sucks. Seriously. When will webmasters learn to make sites that are user-friendly???)

Back to writing!

I just had the first crisis in my story, and I'm feeling very sorry for my lead character at the moment...

We're heading to the office now to borrow the Presentation notebook computer, so I can use it at the local NaNo gathering tomorrow (and when we go to the beach on Monday...).
