Marilyn and I saw an amazing movie tonight, "The Door in the Floor," featuring Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger. Bridges has become one of our finest actors. I read a review that said this was Basinger's finest work. It was a fascinating film, based on one third of an Irving book!

We need to head to bed -- Marilyn has to go to the doctor in the morning.

Damn raccoons are still bothering us -- and on our porch! Ugh! The smell... And poor Johnnie. Such a sweet cat.
