I went upstairs to my bedroom and piled up pillows so I could rest sitting up. This wasn't very comfortable because I was so miserable with dizziness and nausea. I had left Marilyn a note telling her I was sick in case she woke up worried about me.
Eventually I fell asleep and then Marilyn came and checked in on me. I was somewhat better by then, thankfully. But I figure I was awake more than half the night. (And in pain and feeling horribly sick.)
The question was whether or not I'd be able to go to work today.
Happily I did that and was able to walk to Starbucks (as we always do for a new person). And then train Lisa, who I really love. A very sweet woman who also seems smart and quick to learn. We were done with her training by 12:30 p.m.
THIS IS SO ANNOYING!!! For whatever reason, my computer is doing the 'stalling' thing it does! I type and it takes it ages to catch up to me. I've no idea why that happens when it does. But I'm in a hurry, so this is even more frustrating. (sigh)
I'll skip everything else from work. I was just glad to be there and things went well. The website was down and when I contacted Jeremiah at Atmosera he had it back up in around five minutes! Impressive. We were under a server attack, I'm sorry to say...
Marilyn had meetings all day long. We took off for one near home. She dropped me here and then when she was done we went to get sister Sue for her hair appointment. This time I had her going to Kathy, my hair dresser.
While Sue was at her appointment, Marilyn and I went shopping for a few items I needed (kitty litter, etc.). And we picked up food for dinner at Bong.
Sue's hair turned out PERFECT! The right shade of red and a lovely cut! Great job, Kathy!!!
I just did the garbage and recycling (real garbage week). And Marilyn is washing and doing her hair. She wore her hair up today (really nice!) and wore her new dress which looked fab.
Now it's past 1:00 a.m. and we're heading to bed any minute...
My nurse practitioner (Leslie) called while we were out with results from my labs. Too much to cover tonight. I'll share tomorrow (what we know now, anyway).
Sweet dreams, friends!
