Quiet Day -- Under the Weather.

I really didn't do anything much today. I didn't even watch much TV or play much with my iPad. I was feeling a bit punk -- I think I'm fighting off a cold. (I HOPE I'm fighting it off, anyway! Hahaha.)

I did do some email from work.

I talked to sister Sue and to my friend June.

Marilyn was home late after going out for a drink in honor of our recently passed friend, Ron. (She said it was a pretty painful gathering...)

I ate very little all day long. I've been congested and sneezing and coughing. But we live in an area that always has poor air quality. And as my friend June pointed out, right now the entire state is suffering from the effects of copious smoke from wild fires. So who knows???

It's just past midnight and I'm off to wash my hair and head directly to bed. I have jury duty tomorrow and need to be up early and on time!

It's been several years since I've served on jury duty, although I have served in the past several times and am experienced with the process. I also served as foreman (or foreperson, if you prefer) several times. If called, I intend to be entirely candid about my experience from past service. Who knows? Maybe I could be a foreman again...

Good night and pleasant dreams, all!
