I'm sick. And Marilyn is, too. Hard to know, but we might have the same virus (but it's displaying in different ways for each of us). I'm not going into the details for either of us. But we're pretty miserable. And both cats are sneezing, too. Good grief.
Marilyn did get her bills ready and drove out to mail them (including a couple of items I needed mailed). I was sleeping, so I barely remember her leaving and returning, to be entirely honest. She brought me home Starbucks!!! How nice! I really enjoyed that coffee.
I did try and get up several times today. I sat up in the family room part of the time. But I did spend a lot of time in bed, just sleeping.
I wasn't hungry at all today until evening. Marilyn and I drove out and went to McDonald's. So sweet of her to take me! I've been dreaming about malted milks, so she got me a chocolate milk shake -- and we both got some sandwiches and fries. I ate the fries and drank the shake, but couldn't get myself to eat anything else...
We're both sitting in the office upstairs now. She's playing Zuma while I type this.
We have seen a bunch of US Open tennis today. And Frasier, which we love. No matter how many times we see those episodes, we just laugh and laugh. The writing is so damn good.
Before I sign off for today, this is the birthday of a dear friend who has passed away. I'm sharing a photo of her here. She's the mother of my friend (and neighbor) June.
I shared more photos of Dorothy in my entry HERE
from 2014. (There's also a couple of photos of June, too.) It's hard to believe she died back in 2004...
And that's it for today!
