I stayed in today and worked from home, anyway. It's such a good thing that I can Remote in!
Sister Sue had her CAR today!!! Anyway, she dropped to pick up her Grand Floral Parade tickets, so she offered to take me to Freddies. So I threw on clothes and went so I could get bread and eggs and a couple of frozen dinners. It was just SO NICE to spend some time with Sue! I've missed seeing her.
We were going to get Starbucks, but the line from Roosevelt high school (which is close) was too long. I couldn't face it.
I had website work to do, mostly. Then later in the day I helped Marilyn with the logos for GFP that are displayed during the parade in the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It's a HUGE job -- it takes her around five hours to do it! Anyway, I helped find some of the logos that we didn't automatically have available. That often meant I had to use tricks to resize them larger, as frequently the images were very small...
I chatted briefly with June. She and Jim had a good time at the Junior Parade! I watched part of the parade on TV, but missed some of it. (It didn't occur to me to tape it.)
I also talked with Rich about work. We had the Junior Parade results to get out.
I got some steps in today -- I think I made my 4,000, at least. But I was spending a lot of time lying around...
Marilyn went to the International Youth Silent Film Festival with Adeena, Jeff and Frank. I was SORRY to miss it. But I'm sure it was better I stay home.
Marilyn didn't get home until 10:00 p.m. What a long day for her! This is such a rough week. She seems to be hanging in really well, though.
I was supposed to help with the float judging books, but Adeena had to do them as I wasn't there. I hate saying I'll do something and then not doing it.
I guess we actually had a day without IT issues at the office. Anyway, nobody told me about any! (smile)
Time for bed soon.
