I didn't go to the office with Marilyn today. No big deal, as I often 'sit out' the Monday of this week. I felt bad, though, because I knew Marilyn probably needed help -- and I wanted to be there for her. Oh well.
Lots of rain today...
I had really terrible leg cramps again in the night and early morning. Just awful. It really takes me back to when I was a kid and teen, as I had them all the time then, too. We've tried so many things! Potassium, magnesium, homeopathic leg cramp pills, more hydration and on and on. Yes, I walked quite a bit yesterday. But still. It messes with my sleep, aside from hurting. I just have to hang in there the rest of this week. I'll try and get in to see my nurse practitioner after that. I want to have blood work done anyway and see how my diabetes is actually doing...
Most of my work today was on emails and the festival website (surprise). I didn't really do anything to help with the finish of the Grand Floral Parade script -- that was all Marilyn. But it's gone to print, now, so it's all good. We need it back for the PA Meeting tomorrow afternoon (which always happens exactly a week after the Starlight PA Meeting takes place). Many of the same people will be doing this parade that were there last week, actually. But there are far more locations -- double, to be exact. (8 for Starlight and 16 for GFP.)
I gathered some stuff up last week that we can use for tomorrow. I wish we had more! Oh well.
Tonight was American Ninja Warrior night! We both just love that show. It's so inspiring. Plus the human interest stories are so moving! Like the man who has a wife dying of a terrible disease, but wanted her to see him make his run while she's still alive. Wow. It's powerful stuff! And the woman with Tourette Syndrome who is overcoming her illness to take part.
Quinoa and refried beans for dinner. Yummy!
Well, headed to bed. I'm really tired. Marilyn's asleep on the sofa right now.
Gosh, I almost forgot! I turned in my invoice for the script editing today! That's the earliest I've ever done in all these years! For whatever reason, I'm usually awful about getting my invoice in. Hahaha. I tried to phone sister Sue to tell her hours ago, but didn't reach her. No big deal. But she always gives me a hard time about it, so I thought she'd be happy. (grin)
