This was an interesting day! Anyway, Marilyn phoned needing a change to be made to a page of the festival website -- and of course things work quite a bit differently now than back when I was coding things (the old website). For those who may not remember, I officially gave up the role as festival webmaster last January 25.
Anyway, I needed to phone John at Fish and let him know about Danielle. And discuss some website changes.
Then I had to go to the Page that needed changes and 'Publish' these. It's simple to do that, but there should be a way to notify me that a change needs to be made, via email. I'm sure we'll work it all out!
I also phoned my friend John in San Antonio, Texas, who had called me recently. We had a lovely conversation. I'm so excited to know that he's coming to the festival this year. In fact, he's going to be here for two weeks! He used to always do that, but it's been years since he stayed that long. I'm really looking forward to it!
I took out garbage and some recycling, and put out goodies for the crows and critters. And loaded the dishwsher and tidied the kitchen a bit.
Not sure at this point if I'm going in tomorrow or not. It's Toy Drive day, so I want to. But I'm still not over this DAMN bug, so I just don't know. (sigh)
I forgot to mention yesterday that my friend June had her colonoscopy yesterday. I spoke with her husband Jim, and it all went well. But I feel very sorry for June! (I had my colonoscopy lasy November 7.) The preparation SUCKS, no doubt about it. I didn't hear from her today, but she was probably resting.
Sister Sue is still sick, too. She sounded pretty bad today when we talked.
Enjoying my midwife book, set in the 1960’s and '70's. A very entertaining read.
