So Sick.

There's really nothing to report. I'm really SICK -- much worse than yesterday. So I've barely done anything at all today.

And I can hardly talk -- even in a whisper -- and it hurts to try, really. I still have a massive sore throat.

The GOOD news is that Marilyn is feeling a little bit better! She's just starting to get her voice back. So there's hope at the end of this dark tunnel.

Right now I'm in the middle of yet another crazy sweat. But I did take a shower and wash my hair, so that felt good.

I've been so sick today that I disn't feel like watching TV or reading. I spent a lot of time sleeping -- or trying to sleep. Just ugh.

Here's what I read online: Differentiating between a cold and influenza is not always easy. That's because the two can share a number of the same symptoms, including a runny or stuffy nose, sore throat and cough, says emergency medicine specialist Hans House of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Where they differ is in severity, says House, a board member with the American College of Emergency Physicians. Colds tend to be relatively mild and typically last only a few days, he says, "and you can usually still function with a cold. "When you have that high fever (102 degrees or more), and your whole body aches, and you can't even get off the couch because you're so miserable, that's probably the flu."

I've been totally NON-functional yesterday and today, so I guess we can figure this is flu. Sure glad I got that flu shot!

Anyway, that's it for today.
