A Happy, Relaxing Day

First off, I slept in LATE -- and I mean really late. It was lovely, after a long, busy week.

I'm reading a new book on my Kindle, and really enjoying it. It's called "When Women Were Warriors Book I: The Warrior's Path," by author Catherine M. Wilson. The writing is delightful, and I'm really enjoying the story. I'm about halfway through the novel. As usual, I got this book free from Amazon.

Marilyn and I spent a lot of time playing with our iPads and making graphic Edits. I even tried some computer graphics, which I haven't done that much lately.

We did actually make a dash to the store and picked up some things we needed. We stopped at Riteaid and got my prescriptions, before heading over to Freddies. We got some food and a few other things we needed.

We had a nice pot of chili today. We love it this time of year.

We watched a bunch of TV today. We thought about going to a movie, but there's so on TV right now...

There was a LOT of wind today. We saw a tree that fell just down the street, and a lot of branches everywhere while we were out.

I'm still VERY allergic today. Miserable, actually. I can't wait for the steroids to kick in.

We need to get our manicures done this weekend...
