Busy Day of Shopping (So TIRED Tonight!)

Marilyn and I did a bunch of shopping today. We went to Aaron's and Freddies (Interstate), then we went to IKEA, HomeGoods and Ross. And to Freddies, again (this time Peninsula, where we shopped for some groceries we needed). You know, shopping can be EXHAUSTING!

We got a new area rug for the living room. Plus tons of other items, including a coffee table, a wall clock, art, etc.

It was another hot day, and we two are such wimps about the heat this summer. So nice to be home in our air conditioned house!

The rug is perfect! And the new coffee table is small and cute and totally RETRO, which is what we wanted. We got it very cheap, just for now. Ideally we want to find a kidney-shaped one, but this works fine. I'll try and share photos soon.

We're having company here on Monday night, so we just want to have things looking nice by then. We don't have time to do everything we want to do before Monday, but we can do a few things, anyway.

I need to go do the garbage and then we need to get to bed. We're going to The Dalles in the morning to see Angel perform.

Poor Donn! He woke us this morning and I was not happy with him. I was just not up for talking work...

That's pretty much today, in a nutshell...
