Quiet Saturday -- Doing Pretty Nearly Nothing...

Marilyn and I spent a very quiet Saturday -- it was lovely!!! We've had a couple of tough weeks and it was nice to have NOTHING we really needed to get done today.

Tomorrow we actually do need to go to the office, though. We both have email that's out of control, and we need to do something about it...

For us, email is our 'To Do List' -- Marilyn uses her Inbox for this. And I use my Unread. So when we get to more than 100 items, we feel pretty swamped.

We watched the zombie movie "Deadheads," (a 2011 American zombie comedy film created by brothers Brett and Drew Pierce), with Michael McKiddy as Mike Kellerman and Ross Kidder as Brent Guthrie. (It was pretty bad, but I still managed to enjoy it.)

Tonight we watched a couple of Christmas shows: The Christmas Hope," starring Madeleine Stowe -- it was quite good and made me cry. (smile) Then we saw "The Twelve Trees of Christmas" (on the Lifetime Channel) -- which was entertaining, if somewhat annoying...

Saw the trailer for Lifetime's upcoming "Bonnie and Clyde: Dead and Alive (which the Lifetime website calls Bonnie & Clyde). Can you believe they're doing another movie featuring these two? Mom and Dad BOTH hated the original movie ("Bonnie and Clyde" -- starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway and featuring Michael J. Pollard, Gene Hackman and Estelle Parsons), which Marilyn and I both LOVED. But they could remember what it was like when the real criminals were frightening the entire country, so it's not that surprising. And in those days Marilyn and I didn't really know the history. The movie made quite an impression on us -- and the whole neighborhood 'played' Bonnie & Clyde with us. (grin)

Okay, that was pretty random, I know. Hahaha.

Today has been a good day for us to play at Instagram. Marilyn's Revenge account is up to 600 Followers now (!!!), and my The Walking Dead account is up to 224 Followers. We're having a lot of fun, I can tell you that! Marilyn's Edits are STUNNING. Wow, I can't get over her ability with Apps like Leonardo and PhotoShop Touch... We're both learning more all the time, too.

June phoned to tell us about the "Vanport" musical being put on at Jefferson High School (last night and tonight). She knows about Marilyn's fascination with Vanport, so it was nice of her to mention it to us. We don't take the paper anymore (haven't for ages), which is where June saw it...

We weren't willing to go out, I must admit. We hadn't been out of our jammies all day long. Actually, I did throw on something and dash up to the corner store to get hot dog buns for our dinner, though. But I wonder if we'd known about the play in advance if we'd have tried to see it -- especially considering it was a musical (and we love those). Oh well...

Guess I'll go watch the rest of SNL with Marilyn...
