Tried to Read Entries from My Friends -- Couldn't Do It (sigh)

There's a REASON for the lj-cut tag here at LiveJournal...

I know there are a lot of people who think I'm a bitch about this, but really? How hard is it to hide your huge image or link behind an lj-cut?

I used to filter my viewing a lot more -- and especially based on 'offenders' who never cut. But I really hate filtering. I WANT to read what people are sharing!

The problem (you may ask)???

When you're in a huge HURRY (as I am these days), it's very inconvenient and time-consuming to have to scroll (and scroll and SCROLL) to the right, in order to view entries that are ridiculously WIDE because of not being cut. At least with lj-cuts, you can read quickly through the entries that don't need cuts -- and then go back to read cut things (when you have time).

My days are so busy right now. But that doesn't mean I don't like to check up quickly, whenever possible...

Oh well. I tried, anyway. But I need to get back to work now. So I'll have to let it go.

I wonder if I'll get a chance to read those various entries later on???

Maybe I was silly to try in the first place. And I do have the option to set up filters and just remove entries that bug. But I hate that -- because usually I want to read the very people who don't use the lj-cut... (smile)

Honestly, I don't mean to offend. We each need to blog in our own way. I do -- and so do you! So don't cut on my account. I'll live.

It's just been an extremely ANNOYING DAY in many, many ways. This is the very smallest part of that.

Maybe I'll blog later about the website complaints. Maybe not. Or other stupid stuff. But I suppose the best thing to do is to let it go. So maybe I won't...

I hope all is well with the worlds my friends are living in. (grin) Things are pretty crazy in mine.
