Marilyn and I are currently watching "Svengoolie" on METV. It's Martin Landau Day, in honor of the actor who just passed. Marilyn and I loved him in so many things -- "Mission: Impossible," of course!
The most important thing we did today? We decided to go get our manicures and pedicures out of the way. We always have such a hard time getting up for going. It's usually painful, or at least uncomfortable. Anyway, we did it! (woo hoo) I got 'grape jelly' (a purple color, as you might imagine), and Marilyn did a pale blue. And we're both kind of sorry about our choices -- that we'll be stuck with for several weeks, by the way. Hahaha. Oh well. At least they're done!
I cost $5 more than she did. Why? Because the woman had to do something special to my little toe (left side) where I recently stubbed it and knocked OFF my toe nail. (sigh) Right now you can't even tell! (But I can, because it really hurts. Yikes.)
We went over to see Candy and give her the first draft of her resume that Marilyn did. And saw sister Sue briefly while there, too.
Marilyn's knee is still really painful. I hope she can walk tomorrow when we go to the fair! But as she said today, we went last year and I was terribly sick at the time. (It was when I had mono and spleen pain...)
We had a good time last year! We saw our friend Ted and watched the pig and dog races! Always a blast.
Well, back to the movie! I made homemade popcorn and we're really enjoying it. (smile)
Sweet dreams, friends. And I hope you're all having a good weekend!
