Today is the Fourth Sunday in Lent, for anyone keeping track...
Basically, Marilyn and I took the entire day off, after going into work yesterday. So we didn't get anything to done to speak of. There was a lot I could have done, but oh well. We needed to relax after a busy week -- and as we face another busy week.
Marilyn registered on Friday for the Portland Marathon, which is October 3 this year. She's been saying for some time that she wanted to do a marathon when she turned 60, and that happens this April 7.
So we did focus on our steps today. She did four miles on the treadmill to get her 10,000 steps, and I had to do half an hour to be sure I got my 4,000 steps. Then we went out shopping, and got lots more steps (as you"ll see below).
I'm training a new person at the office tomorrow -- her name is Robin. (Marilyn hired her from the agency that we've been using for years.) I'll say my prayers (as I always do) that I can give her the knowledge she needs to do a good job. It's important that I have a clear head and attempt to impart everything I can during the short session with her.
Then I have a bunch of website work to get done. So I'll be busy tomorrow.
And Marilyn is always swamped, without fail. She needs to work on the Living History stuff.
We had quite the storm today. First rain, and then wind! Nasty! But at least we didn't lose our power or flood, thank God.
I need to color my hair! I should have done it today. Oh well.
Well, we're heading to bed soon...
Fitbit Update: Marilyn did 11,400 steps. (It was her 10,000 steps day.) I did 6,006 steps.
